Do you take surveys?

Today I have probably attempted a dozen surveys on several sites. Most of them will give you a point or more just for trying, so that is not too bad. I needed to finish at least one on Swag Bucks, though, cause I have not been making my goal.
I did finally succeed on a gold survey. I was in the middle of one when something knocked me offline. Hubby was doing some electrical work.
What kind of average do you have on finishing surveys? I tried eight of them on mypoints and got five points on each. I do not like surveys, but I like rewards.

I would never consider doing a survey, whether online, over the telephone or in person. The purpose of a survey is to collect data regarding when your car or home insurance is due, who your providers are for internet or power supplies etcetera. This data is then sold on so you end up with extra junk mail, emails or telephone calls.

I do not get those kind of surveys. I have some surveys that have sent me product to try and review. I like those.

@Susan2015 I think I get a lot of spam because of "offers" places like Inbox Dollars and Swag bucks, etc.

I need some kind of a reward that I can count on, or I lose interest, which is what has happened to me on some sites.

I have done a lot of different ones on different sites, it seems like a lot of them disqualify you right near the end. I like the ones on Tellwut though as they are user created and you can't be disqualified. Most are 1 to 2 questions and are worth about 5 or 10 points per survey. It does take a while to get a gift card but in the end it is pretty easy and sometimes kinda fun.

I had not heard of that site. I do the mypoints and with other things I earn a card or two a year. I do swagbucks, have you done that?

@GardenGerty I have used swagbucks a lot, I have earned quite a few cards with swagbucks. I have tried mypoints a few times but I have never cashed out on it. Tellwut I have gotten four $10 amazon cards in the past year.

I hate surveys. I will try them occasionally when I have reason to reach payout quickly... such as now I have some items on Amazon I'd like to buy for the twins' birthday so I'd like more Amazon money.

That is why I attempt them at SwagBucks. I get $25 Amazon for 2200 points.

@katsmeow1213 I have not gotten to that problem yet. I am considering doing another type for a small redemption and then being ready for another $25 Amazon at the first of the month. I used to never do well there.

@GardenGerty Yeah.. but you can only redeem once per month, and I've already gotten mine for this month and only a couple hundred points off from another redemption... I could get another this month but I'd pay full price and that just seems silly.

I do take surveys, but at times they can really be boring, and long. Most of the time, I am not qualified to take them either, which is frustrating, asd i get toa certain point, and then I am told I am not qualified. I only do them once in awhile.

That happens to me often. I do like it when I get my reward, though. It helps me reach my swag bucks goal.

@GardenGerty I do need to go back to swagbucks again, but there are so many apps out there where we can get paid, that I just like the other ones better. I like to do what I can to earn as much as I can, as I can use more, especially in this economy.

I have done some but I do not get the gratification of a reward, because of course I am never drawn.

They can be quite time consuming, especially if you do not get any reward for them.

I often feel that way, but from time to time on these two sites I can complete one and it is really worthwhile when I do.

I did try to earn with surveys many years ago but Germany does not seem to be a good market for these companies. Back then, I got asked a few questions, then got the "you are not who we are looking for" and got kicked out without getting anything from it. So I do not waste my time with any surveys. There are things that earn me better money online :-)

I know. I am the wrong demographic for many but it is beginning to pay off for me when combined with other things. I like your Zazzle success.

I feel that much of my data has been collected already. I stick with the same sites all the time.

They are a pain, and if they are too much of a pain I drop them. I get one or two successes on Swag Bucks a week.

I registered on a few survey panels and used to enjoy doing them. I've been rewarded with cash vouchers a few times but now I hardly have the time and patience to do them.

When I worked I did not feel I had the time. I do not do them a lot except to try to reach goals on sites that pay me for other things.

That sounds like MyPoints, it happens to me a lot, but those points add up with other activities.

I only do surveys on one site because I find otherwise they are just repeats and knock me off and thus no rewards.
Glad you got at least one in GG.
I truly have to be in the mood to do them, cant say I am fond of them either.

@Susan2015 I sometimes try the 30 minute ones and sometimes get lucky as they do not take that long, but generally I avoid them too. I really think some of the surveys are a crock. They want an arm and a leg for a petty reward.

I do not love them at all. I can and will do them for certain sites, though
