Deciding on dinner

United States

So my husband should be getting off work in about an hour or so... Still haven't figured out exactly what we are doing for dinner. I am kinda thing soup and grilled cheese but then again I am honestly thinking this late at night that simple meal is too much work. Kinda thinking I'll just have him pick up a pizza on his way home.

Ah, deciding on dinner is always hard. Maybe eat sandwiches instead of grilled cheese? That should be less work and easier to prepare.

Picking a pizza would save you from any preparation. But this is not really a healthy dinner so to speak.

True, though once in a while is alright as long as it doesn't become a habbit. :)

I'm all for a quick and easy take away... Then again, I'm not much of a cook at all.

I'm with you on that one, there are days you just don't feel like even attempting to make anything. :)

Homemade would be great but considering my husband didn't get off work until 1am it seems like too much to do that the time... Might make a homemade one some time later this week though :)

Sadly most of the places that do online orders don't deliver to our area, nor are they anywhere near where he works. Thankfully though they are still open at this hour so I should be able to call in our order and have him grab it on his way home.

We live in a small town with only locally owned pizza places. The next town over has some chain places such as Dominos and Papa Johns but they won't deliver to our town. Not sure why, I am guessing it is because of the local pizza places.

I can eat pizza at any time for any reason! But, I think I'm going to brown the little bit of ground beef I set aside and make green chile gravy for myself. It's best with fried potatoes, but I don't have any, but I'm still in the mood for it.
