One of the nicest memories I have of time spent with my mom were the snowflakes. She was always so industrious and coming up with fun and interesting things to do. I recall many hours of setting around cutting out snowflakes. We had this tradition of making some every year. We would tape them on the windows or even put them in the Christmas tree.
After she had passed I happened to find this site. No matter what social media site I am on I share this site with the friends I have made there. Some of you might remember it. You can do them right on the site and you don't need scissors or paper. You can write a message and share them with everyone else. Check it out. They are fun and even addicting for a cold winters day or evening. Here is the link:

@celticeagle Yes, it really was a lot of fun. My children always liked cutting them out also.

Just a few minutes it took to make that memory is all it takes to last a lifetime.

Snowflakes are a little different from snow. Each tiny flake is different sometimes I just go there and watch all of them falling.

@celticeagle The only time I ever got to play in snow was when my dad would take us up to the mountains after it snowed. We got to play the day in the snow. I loved to sled down the mountain side and it was a lot of fun.

What a great memory you have. I will have to check that site out as I used to enjoy making snowflakes with our son when he was younger. He remembers tearing the edges off of the computer paper for the tractor-fed printer. It was perforated and he'd tear it off and colour the strips different colours, then we'd make paper chains out of them to decorate in our basement.
