Hello Friends
Just couple of years back I have never heard about them and now they are everywhere. Not only one but there are many services like that. I am talking about ewallets like PAYTM. There are many mobile applications like this for paying our bills, shopping and recharges.
Honestly I am using it since few months. But I like the concept. I mean I can recharge my bills, phones and shopping using this thing instantly. Plus in local market also this thing is getting in. I mean they are also accepting bills from such wallets.
What do you think about them? Do you prefer to use them or you are happy with direct payments from debit cards?

It existed during about 15 years in France, but the last one, Moneo, disappeared in July 2015 : their main problem was that you could only use them for small amounts, and that you had to recharge them often (and you needed to go to a bank to do it), as there was a low maximum amount of money allowed on the ewallet (it was 100 Euros/about $120). Now that credit cards have contactless payment for small amounts of money, they are useless, at least for shopping or recharges and they have disappeared. I use mainly PayPal online.

Paypal is not working here in India for purchasing. I mean they just do auto withdraw amount whatever I get it form online. So its not friendly for Indians.
Here paytm is working good. They are now also working with local merchants. I mean we can pay for pizzas too using it. So for it is doing good.

@akp100 It was/is not bad. I have had one, and I was using it mainly for parking meters and tolls, as you have not always the change needed in your pocket. A credit card/debit card with contactless payment does exactly the same now, and without the trouble to have to go to a bank to recharge it.

I am happy when I pay via cash - my wife thinks that is the only way to contain me when it comes to spending And yes, she is right - I was spending more than my earnings at a time for years because I had the first Debit card in Bhubaneswar with my bank and I am a born spendthrift

@akp100 Good that now the e-sites are getting better. Back when I tried my first purchase at EBay, things went horribly wrong - I got a defective piece delivered and somehow the EBay and the vendor did nothing to resolve. I said no to e-shops since then. Though whenever I see those pages of Adverts on the newspapers, I start getting lured in. But then, my debit cards are not with me and that seem a good thing to keep me away

@thesids That's really bad bro. So far I have not face anything like that. But still I must say ebay quality is not as good as other sites like amazon and snapdeal. If you try next time then try out amazon, they have really good service and return procedure.
When I returned my phone which I didn't like they have personally came to my home and refunded within two working days.

So far I'm happy using debit card for payment. It's easy and I can maintain it very well

@akp100 This kind of payment method seems not working yet in my country actually. Perhaps if it's available here, people will give a try

Well, here for Indians paypal is not that friendly. We guys can't keep or use our incoming money on paypal. They directly send the amount to our bank account even if we don't want it there.. lol.. So that's why paytm here is good for alternative for local purchases.
