End of time, how true?

I am a christian and believe in the end of time which is at hand. Some of us do not believe these either. Some think that if you die the end has come for you. How true is this belief?

@MALUSE I take your answer to mean no. But how accurate can the Astrophysicists than God? The aspect of your comment that says "... Not in the foreseeable future .." is too vague to me

@africanen There is no Yes or No for a belief. It doesn't make sense to ask, "How true is this belief?" You can only ask, "Do you believe this?" My answer to this is NO. Not in the way you think. Of course,the world will end but not in the foreseeable future. Astrophysicists can tell you when to expect the end of planet earth.

Well, @africanen, no one told me this but I believe everything and everyone have their end. Don't know when. No one can tell. Do you agree?

@africanen, yes. How can anyone predict the end of the world? If they can, why can't they predict their future?

I agree with you that no one can tell the end. I do not believe in human predictions on this subject matter as well. It is also true that everything has an end as you said

@enlightenedpsych2 Your comment is well made. I believe in God the father, his son Jesus and the Holy spirit who is the comforter. I believe Jesus is coming again and I know he will. I think some people die, but, their soul is passed to another person, that person may have memories from is previous life. Those stories are told by the Druze people if I'm correct, they call it reincarnation. Now, I don't know about the end of time, but, if the middle east keep burning like that, a world war 3 will happen and that can bring a lot of damage to the humanity. I think many people will consider it as the end of the world as we know it. I suggest you better focus on the here and now. ah ?
