When my boys were growing up they at one time or another were involved in baseball, football, basketball and Cub Scots and later Boy Scouts and even though I worked full time I was always at their games on the weekend to root for them.
My two oldest in baseball were pitchers one was left handed and the other right handed. I don't remember what position they played in football they were both in Pop Warner football.
My youngest was on a basketball team and was very good at it and they went to the finals one year but unfortunately did not get first place.
My other son did not like sports at all as he was the one who liked to draw and make things which he was very good at.
The two oldest are just two years apart and then one year apart, then 5 years apart.

Hi Guys
I only had one son.
He loved to play soccer when he was little.
As he grew, he was no longer in to any sports but drawing and writing.

My oldest played soccer all through high school and made captain of the team the last 2 years. He also did wrestling and baseball. In middle school he tried football and track. He played basketball a few years also.
My twins are in middle school now. They do marching band, drumline/winterguard, soccer, track, and this year my daughter is trying volleyball. She has also always been into dance but gave it up last year but is now talking about wanting to dance again. They've also been in many musical productions, and they went to the regional spelling bee 2 years in a row.. and my daughter is in Junior Honor Society.
My youngest 2 play soccer, basketball, they want to try baseball this year and at least one of them plans to join the marching band when he's old enough.

They sound like talented children. I was never one to be into sports. I was more of a person that liked music and liked to write and even draw. So I get that with your other son. I bet they ell enjoyed their time playing sports and whatever else they did. And you are a rock to them I am sure.

@Marcyaz That is the best way to do it. Let them decide. I never pressure my kids, although they are still young. I do encourage them to learn computers. At least if whatever dreams they have don't pan out, they have something to fall back on.

I know it meant a lot to your boys that you were there for them. K and I had two sons. They were both involved in Scouts and sports. K and I were both leaders in the Scout program and I helped coach several of their teams when they were younger. We made it to every game or event possible, whether home or away.

None of my brothers are the same. My eldest one becomes obsessed about his hobbies much to the boredom of everyone around him. My younger brother is very talented with his hands. I prefer music and the arts whereas my sister was what we boys considered daddies little pet none of us could stand!

I have 3 kids and 1 adopted boy. As you are proud of your boys I am too. They may not be sports minded but like your other son loves to draw so do mine but they were boy scouts before. I really wanted boys and God gave me boys.

Its great to have a player with left and right handed. That will favour the team for a great margin.
