To Everyone on MyLot...........Suggestions

I love to receive suggestions from my followers when they start a new discussion. This makes it so much easier to follow you and read your work. I know I can find you on People to search through the long list of new discussion. I can also find you on Explore if I want to search through all the Interesting – Top Rated – Most Recent – and Hot discussions.
However, this takes a lot of time and I do miss a lot of your discussion. I would like to offer a helpful hit to everyone. I know people love to have everyone read what they write. I also know they everyone loves to see what people think. So next time you have written a new discussion please share it with your followers. I would love to hear from you.
It’s simple to do this one. After you have submitted you post and before closing it go to the end of your post. Use your mouse to hover over the right hand side at the bottom. There you’ll see an eye marked suggestion. Click on this little eye and ext to each person’s name send them a suggestion.
I find that I receive a lot of suggestion and I go to each and every one of them. I add my comments, give my response and like your work. I love the suggestion part of the site and I think it makes it so much easier to find all of your great words you have to share.
So my friends please don’t be afraid to send me your work. I promise you I’ll read it and leave you a comment behind. That\s what the best part of this site is all about - reading and interacting with new friends and followers.
Don’t forget send me a suggestion I love reading them.

I have sent a suggestion only once, and I am not sure I will do it again, as I don't like seding them to people that might not want them. I haven't had any problem of people seeing my discussion without suggesting them, so I would just rathat not at this time. I don't want to send them to people that might consider it spamming.

I can understand that one. I think if they added the feature on the site it was meant to help people find your work a little easier. I personally like receiving them because it makes it go so much faster for me. I miss some stuff if I don't get a suggest to read it. I have asked a good friend to always send me a suggest when she posts. If you would like please send them to me too. I like getting them and it makes it easier for me to find you.

Whenever I start a new post, I like to suggest it to my followers and I feel good when many of them come and respond.
I also try my best to respond to posts suggested by my friends here. However, if I am not able to contribute to any discussion, I skip it.

I got one nasty reply from someone I had sent a suggestion to. Very much to the point, almost to the point of being rude. That is the only negative reply to a suggestion that I have gotten.

@celticeagle You know you can send suggestions to me. I don't think someone should get rude about it. All they have to do is unfollow you or delete it if they don't want suggestions. It's too hard to remember who wants them and who doesn't.

I love it when you send me suggestions. I will never tell you to stop sending them to me. I find it so much easier to read your work and comment on your posts. Thanks for sending them to me.

That's a good way of thinking about it. Personally I don't have all the time in the world to start searching through all the new discussion or through the people I follow list. I would rather have a notification or a suggestion to go direct to their post. If you want please send me yours I will be happy to read them.

I like the suggestions function too... and wished more people would use it like you suggest....

I have so many people suggesting stuff right now, if feels a little out of hand. I don't mindthough. I get to them or I don't.

I don't that because it feels rude to me. Strangely, I don't feel other people are being rude when they suggest their posts. No, I do not understand that myself.
