Do we ever outgrow certain things……like…….

Remember when you were young and what great pleasure you had finding your surprise in your Cracker Jacks or boxes of cereal? Your mom would go shopping and buy food. But the only thing that interested you was seeing the cereal boxes and looking to see if there was a surprise inside. The next morning you couldn’t wait to open the box and dig to the bottom to find your surprise.
I was just thinking of this now because the new box of laundry soap came with a surprise in the box. When I opened it I didn’t find my surprise on top. I had to dig way down deep to uncover my surprise. Today I got a new little gun with an ice cream top on it. You can push the button on the handle and it sends the ice cream top flying.
I’m sitting here right now laughing really hard as I play with this gun and my dog. He is going crazy to see this thing flying through the air spinning around and landing on the ground. It is a race between the two of us to see who gets it first. I know he is small and his teeth won’t harm the plastic but it is a fun game to play with him anyhow.
Do you still love to dig through boxes to find the surprise inside?

I haven't found a surprise inside a box for a long time. It sure brings out the kid in a person.

It sure does. When I found it today I started to play with it. I did it to see what my dog would do. He was curious at first and afraid to go near it. He crept up and then looked, He got scared a few times and ran under the couch. Then when it stopped he ran after it to see what it was. I was laughing so hard on this one it was funny to to watch what he did.

***raises hands and says to himself 'Guilty as charged!***
it is hard to be a kid at heart with adult responsibilities!
