As most ancient foods do, tamarind has a long history of medicinal uses. Tamarind preparations are used for fevers, sore throat, rheumatism, inflammation, and sunstroke. Tamarind contain thiamin, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, tartaric acid..... Let me know other benefits using tamarind in daily use....

Interesting. As far as I know, tamarind pulp is used as a wrap for sprained ankles. It keeps the inflammation in check. The rest of them I have no idea. It would be great if you could elaborate.
