Good Morning

I'm awake far too early today, I've been up since around 4 AM. I don't really have to be out of bed until after 7:30. Yesterday I lost my nanny job when the family I just started working for told me the person I'd replaced decided she wanted to come back. So they fired me to let her come back. Pretty bad, huh? You would think they'd have the guys to tell her sorry, but we already hired someone else. I do have a phone interview for another position at 2:30 today though. My mom will support me until I get a new job, but she will make me pay for it in guilt! I also just bought a new cellphone and I hate to drop a $100 a month bill on her. I guess this is all meant to make me remember to be thankful I have a roof over my head and food to eat.

It is very bad how the family that you worked for did that to you. I know you want your independence, but until you get that steady work, it is impossible. I am also glad to know you are not on the street and have a roof over your head. It is not easy though with the guilt trip.

Yes I'm so mad at that family. I left them a bad review on the site where they posted the job.

That wasn't a nice thing for those people to do. if the other person left, that should have been it. If I were those people, I would have given you a chance to prove yourself before making any decision. At least you have another one lines up.

It is good on your part that you want to be self dependent. You should not lose your heart, if you lost the job. Remember, if you are sincere and hard working, you will get another job. Best of luck.

I am sorry to hear that. I can see your point she left and left for a reason so why bring her back when she probably will leave again. I did that with a job once, I was let go because I refused unsafe work, then went back to my old job but later left again.
