My laptop is new. Can you you help me think of a way on how I can make it fast? Like when I open Microsoft Office, check old photos in documents, or merely opening a file. I don't need net when opening it, right? But it's really slow. My laptop is Acer Aspire E14. Im using Windows 10.
I would appreciate if you could give me solutions to this. Thank you!

My initial thought would be that you should run a scan with your anti-virus program to make sure your computer isn't infected with some sort of malware.
If a scan shows no issues, I'd check the privacy settings as @Owlwings suggested. I'd also upgrade the RAM if the computer can handle it, since that should improve performance.

I agree that it's always wise to install an AV program and run a full scan. I didn't suggest it because @mayla531 began by saying it was a 'new laptop'. However, 'new' is sometimes a relative term and one can't always trust shops not to have meddled with the thing before selling it to you as 'new'!

@owlwings Some users have a special talent for picking up malware.
My husband is one of them, so I'm quite used to having to rescue him from something within the first week or two of owning a new laptop. He always forgets that he needs to have anti-virus software installed before browsing the internet...

I see from a number of reviews that the E14 is reckoned to be a reasonable laptop for the money (depending on which model and processor you have) but is said to be "a bit sluggish".
As you have Windows 10, I wonder whether you have the Privacy settings configured properly. It certainly should know when you are not connected to the Internet but I wonder whether it's trying to send information all the same. I am not a Win 10 user (yet) but I have read articles which suggest that there are several settings ON by default which you can turn off. For more information, search for "Windows 10 Privacy settings". Also, do you turn the WiFi switch off when you are not connected to the Internet?
You don't say how much RAM your machine has. Sometimes, slow working such as you describe can be caused by not having enough RAM.

Windows 10 shares a lot of information by default.
These are the three articles that I used to help me lock it down and change the Start Menu appearance when I upgraded:

Windows 10 is amazing. Windows 10 is fantastic. Windows 10 is glorious. Windows 10 is faster, smoother and more user-friendly than any Windows operating system that has come before it. Windows 10 i...
