I just recently read an article on a parenting site that was surprising. Women wrote about having a miscarriage and how it had changed their hormones. They said after their miscarriage they noticed a black or dark mustache on her upper lip. Many of these women at first thought they were imagining this. Then they came to realize it was actually a dark image of a mustache on their upper lip. They have tried to hide this with creams and other facial products but the image is still noticeable.
Some women have started to joke about this with their partners while others are embarrassed to go out of their homes. I know that women’s hormones change during menopause and at this time they can have facial hair grow. I had no idea this can happen after a miscarriage. I did some reading on this and found out that a handful of women can go through a drastic hormonal change after a miscarriage and this is one of the side effects.
Have you ever heard of this before?
Do you know anyone that this has happened to?
Do you happen to know if this will go away or they will have a mustache for the rest of their lives?

Most woman have hair on their upper lip - especially after menopause. You can have it removed with hot wax, electrolysis, lazer, lots way - waxing it grows back. Never shave it.

Yes I understand this one. But on the article I read there is actually no hair. it is a dark line that is on their face and it looks like they have a mustache on their face now. I guess you could say in some way it is like a vein but not a vein or maybe it is a skin discoloration that appeared after a miscarriage and it has never gone away or faded. I didn't read one of the women saying they had hair only the shadow of a mustache. Maybe I didn't explain it so well and I'm sorry.

I think that your last sentence says it all. There are some women who grow a lot of hair on their bodies. There is a device now that does the trick.

Yah maybe your right on this one. I just never heard of it before. I think I have seen a few things on Internet how to control facial hair in women.
