Why did you choose this breed?

I’m a dog trainer. Before I met with a new client, I had her fill out a questionnaire. One question asked, “Why did you choose this breed?”
My client responded, “I often ask myself this very same question.”
I want to ask all of you the same question Why did you choose the breed which you currently had?
i think the answer is the same as my client says

We had this fad about pedigree when we started looking for pets. We had them - a Dalmatian and a Bull Terrier both gave us happiness. We then decided to go for the common breed and there again we never felt different. Our latest Preiti walked into our life on her own. She is precious

@vipi1990 She is losing her coat a bit and I am concerned. Have consulted our Vet. and hopefully she should get back her silky coat.

My dog is a Golden Retriever. I chose that breed because my parents had a Golden Retriever in my childhood. I like Golden Retrievers, and I decided to buy a Golden Retriever as well. If we are going to buy another dog in the future we will probably choose a different breed in order to try something else. Next time my husband will choose the breed.

I chose my dogs one because of size as i like a larger dog. Honey is 3 years old now and she is a Rotweiller and Newfoundland mix which people take her for a very large Labrador. Now I have a 11 month old American Bulldog and Shitshue mix who looks like she is a long haired terrior. She is a lot smaller than my other dog. They are both sweethearts and love people and other animals. I chose them because they were the ones I was drawn to.
