Cryopreservation – is it for you?

When you die, what will happen to your body; will it be buried, laid in the family vault, cremated or buried at sea perhaps? Or have you ever considered having yourself frozen for posterity? It sounds a bit crazy but there is an industry building up around freezing your body, or if that’s too expensive then there is the option of just freezing your head. Of course this raises a literally endless list of questions. How long will the company keep your body frozen? How will you even know if they don’t keep their side of the bargain? What if there’s a major power outage or some sort of natural disaster or war? If you have just your head frozen, who would donate their body so you could be revived whole again?
