I'm not so sure about this. It might lead to people getting in cahoots with each and suggesting each others' posts.
I have been in the habit of using this feature because it led to many more responses. I'll have to see what difference it makes now that the feature has been removed.
I will probably suggest new posts that look to be interesting.

It's a move I welcome. I was in favour of it from when I joined so I think it is a great progressive step for the site. This was the first page to be suggested to me since the changes were implemented. Thanks for that.

@rahulvsmokiee thanks - much appreciated. I have forwarded the admin message itself round through suggestions. One that everyone should see

I have only used the suggest feature once, and never used it again. I just didn't want to spam others by sending one suggestion after another, which some did. I would end up getting several suggestions from one person, so the fact they have changed it now, will make it much better. We won't be getting suggestions from the same person over and over that way. This is a welcome change.

@DnkHrth It did, when I would get several from one person. I usually just ignored them too, as that was considered spamming in my book. I only suggested one discussion, and that was it, and I didn't choose that many to send it to either. I am really happy that the decision was made not to suggest our own, as we won't get oodles now, and that is fine with me.

I'd been receiving suggestions last Oct. 8, when I started having friends here. I found it ok tho' as it sort of gave me a prompter re, my friend's latest write-up. I saw nothing wrong in it, except when I received "a lot" from just a few. So, my stand is: to give a minimum of to be suggested posts (1 or 2, in a day). Anyway, the chance is gone. Thank you.

Good call KnehKnah. On another site that is the option, you may only do 3 discussions per day, but you do have that option.
