I suffer from chronic migraines. I can hear the blood pulsing through my veins when my migraine is severe like today. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. I am home alone, my house is silent yet all I hear is noise. I hear the blood pulsing through my veins but the worst thing is THE RINGING... I first noticed the ringing in April of this year I posted about it on Facebook but didn't mention it to any of my doctors or my husband for some reason. I mentioned it to my then neurologist in July he put me on meds to lower the pressure in my brain... That wasn't the issue.. I mentioned it to one of my primary care doctors he didn't think anything of it he just figured it was my migraine medicines. Finally in August I saw a doctor I hadn't seen in a few years and she checked my ears they were full of fluid and had been for a long time hopefully I don't have permanent damage I have been on several antibiotics and meds to dry them up since I still have the fluid. My pain doctor took me off of one of my anti inflammatory medicines because it was causing GI problems I now can feel the pain in my ears and they pop, if they don't clear up soon I get tubes fun, fun. So that's why it's loud in here blood pulsing through my veins and loud incessant ringing!!! Does anyone else have migraines? Do y'all experience any of these symptoms ever?

@jerseyswife Did it become worse after the surgery? I sue hope they can find a cure or a way to manage it so you don't have to suffer on a daily basis.

I've had migraines for 40 years and have been to hell and back with them. Often you don't get any sympathy and people think its "only a headache". I've had to go AWOL a couple of times from work with bad migraines and probably stress is a major trigger factor. Smells, especially perfumes, air fresheners, solvents (white spirit, diesel, gasoline etc), smoke, and even sickly sweet roses also trigger my migraine.
You could have tinnitus which may or may not have anything to do with the migraine. Tinnitus can also be caused by over loud music or other sounds, infection, medication and lots more. Get your blood pressure checked also or buy a home monitor. Very high blood pressure can cause rushing sounds and even exacerbates the pain of migraine. This seems reasonable since over high pressure in the arteries and smaller blood vessels probably stretches the walls of the vessels and aggravates the already "angry" tissue.

I do have high blood pressure that is stemmed from my brain surgery... The ringing is from the fluid in my ears they are now talking about putting tubes in my ears I really don't want tubes but if it will get rid of the ringing and the pain I will do it my blood pressure can be running high and I won't hear it unless I have a severe migraine the migraines make my hearing ultra sensitive... Same thing with smell I think we all turn into super humans with migraines I can tell weather changes days before they happen lol

@jerseyswife Same here, my smell becomes ultra sensitive when I have a migraine, and all phones get turned off or put off hook so they don't ring.
