Children have a tendency to imitate what they see and they watch. While they do not yet know what things they are allowed to imitate and things that they should not imitate. So they need adults or parents who accompany them to control their tendencies.
So, how often do you accompany your children watch TV or movies?

All the time. I do monitor what they watch. My dad did that with me so I'm doing that with my children.

I will try to accompany my son to watch TV together. It is better to spend more time with the children and therefore you can be good friends and your relationship will stay well. When we watch TV, sometimes we will even eat some snacks and it is our happy time.

Yes, you are right, nowadays, there are many movie that contain much violence on TV as well as in some games. I think parents should know about that. Thank you for your opinion.

I'm pretty much always with my kids when they're watching TV. I can't control much about when they're with grandparents and I'm not around, but I don't want them watching violence and horror till they're later in their teenage years. My 9 year old I'm getting less concerned about what she watches since she's becomming her own person now. But I'm touchy about what my 4 year old watches. Even some cartoons are a little too weird for kids I think.
