It's Friday the last day of the school week and the last day of this half term. Himself has just left to walk F to school and after we pick (he picks) F up at 3.15pm we'll be starting on eleven days of fun. OK, so Himself has to work tomorrow, but after that he's got a week's holiday and we have lots of fun planned.
Sunday : We're going out for a family meal at our local carvery
Monday : We're going to the local "big" town for some retail therapy ahead of Baby JJ's second birthday
Tuesday : F has a Halloween themed birthday party to attend
Wednesday : Joint birthday celebration meal for Baby JJ and his 96 year old Great Grandma
Thursday : Baby JJ's second birthday, with a trip to the zoo where they'll be holding a special late night opening event, "Fright Night"
Friday : A day to recover, finish decorating the house and bake some spooky cakes
Saturday : A visit to a Halloween event in the big town in the evening and the garden centre in the morning
Sunday : Chill out and get ready to get back to school on Monday.
So a busy but hopefully fun week ahead, are your children off school for the week and if so do you have much planned?

My kids have school break for I week and we are going home to the nearby town where our residential house is located,

You obviously love half term but there do seem to be many, who dread it, mainly 'working parents' with childcare alternatives.
