Crying into my soup

Sadly, we attended a funeral on Tuesday for a relative who had died suddenly. His widow organised a lovely service to celebrate his life, which included playing a Michael Buble song called "Close your eyes." I didn't know the song, but it seemed very fitting.
Today, we popped out for lunch in a local restaurant. Just as I started to eat my soup, guess which song started playing? Yes, it was "Close your eyes." The tune brought a huge lump to my throat, and before I knew it, there were tears pouring down. I'd held it together at the funeral, but wasn't prepared for that sudden reminder. Music can do strange things to you.

condolences for the loss of your relative. I don't know the song though I'm sure it will be all the more poignant for you whenever you hear it now
