What is the word on video

I looked at the guidelines in the help section and am still unsure of what links we can and cannot include in our posts. I get that links to affiliate sites, CPC links and links to our own products is now considered to be spam. What I can't find out about is video. Can somene tell me what the rules are on that. Specifically... Can we embed related video into our posts? If not, can we add a link to a related video? If yes, can we link to a relevant video that we created? (Specifiacly, videos of my vacations are being created more frequently. If I write about the vacation here, can I link to the video if it is relevant or should it be left off?) Does it matter if the video in the link has Google Adsense running on it? Thanks! (I also wonder if there is a forum where questions like this can be asked. If so, can someone direct me there?)
