Running out of interesting discussions to read?

Personally, I usually run out of time first before I ever run out of discussions to read.
But I know others may be fast readers, or have a short list of interests, then perhaps having a hard time to find interesting discussions to keep them occupied.
Let me try to list where to look for discussions:
1. Me. Perhaps the most obvious place - it's where notifications and suggested discussions are.
2. People. The default on this page are activities of people you are following. Clicking Discussions on the left panel will take you to discussions started by them.
3. Explore. Look through all the 6 options for discussions - Interesting, Top Rated, Most Recent, Hot, New User, and No Responses.
4. Search. Put a key word of your interest inside the search box. The results will be all discussions tagged with the key word in chronological order.
5. Using Tags. When I'm on a discussion post, I sometimes see it's tagged with an interesting key word and click on it to see what other discussions might be there tagged with it. Or you can always glance to the right of the page where You Might Also Like list is.
Still bored because you can't find any interesting discussions? Well, unless anyone else can point out where else to look then I guess it's time to sign out...

There are many day I run out of discussion on here that interest me. I don't have kids, so I don't need to read about potty training....I usually avoid religion and politics too.

@sishy7 Those topics are too dangerous, at this time of the year especially.

@sishy7 Sadly I am spending too much time on the internet and my legs are bothering me. I need to do more exercise.

@1hopefulman Same here - not just for my legs, but regular exercise would do my whole body good.

I run out of things from those I follow, but I never run out of things.

@sishy7 Oh I use the dicussions part of the people tab, because I want to read everything the few people I follow write, solid content there. but then I wander around

Oh gosh, I never run out of discussions to read - if anything I feel bad I can't get to more of them! I really should look through more of these tabs, but time isn't usually on my side. I feel like I should get to my notifications first - and that's already hard to keep up as it is - I read some "new" posts, but hardly enough. It's all overwhelming, but I tell ya it sure feels good knowing that it never feels like a ghost town here!!

@softbabe44 You're right. Reading through other people discussions/responses/comments often prompt ideas for our own posts.

@sishy7 Just looking through the discussions is a great way to learn other things that might help with topics.

@sishy7 I am for sure. I just don't have enough time as I am trying to do other things in the house and outside. I will catch on ways to make it easier. I am tying to catch up on all my messages and I want to get a clean notification start. Haha.

I haven't ran out of interesting discussions, yet. But, I guess it could happen sooner or later.

@DeborahDiane I suppose it could - some may find discussions available are not of their interests...

Thanks for the ideas! I usually go to 'Explore' and go through each tab 'Interesting', Most Recent', 'No Responses' etc. I then move to my connections and lastly to my notifications.

I do all of these and then go to my favorite folk's profiles and see if I missed in recent or old ones.

The most effective way for me is to go to profiles of those whose posts I like. apart from ofcourse what you have lined up in your post.

For me every post is interesting except good morning-good night-posts . . which I find boring.
