Enjoyed The Last Witch Hunter

Hubby and I saw the Last Witch Hunter this afternoon. The ending leaves room for more movies to come. It would be hard for Hollywood not to walk through the "sequel" door on this one. The movie stars Van Diesel. I went into the theater expectling very little plot, stiff acting from Diesel and some good CGI. I was not disappointed. It's the standard "you're the guy to save the world" movie. It had the requisite sidekick who can kick tails and take names. CGI was good and of course, it had a fast car. (This is a Van Diesel movie after all.) No way would I take youngsters to see it! As with all flicks that are released this time of year, it's a little gross in spots. Okay, that's an understatement. It's a lot gross in spots and there are startling moments that build suspense. There was only one bad word that I recall and no nude scenes. I appreciate that Hollywood is dropping those these days. All in all, not a bad way to enjoy an afternoon. Now, if the pizza place would move a little faster, then it would be a great night!
