I'm a new user to myLot (2015), but I used to have an account back in 2008 when myLot was very different. Back in 2008, myLot was bustling. New discussions were being added every second and discussion responses reached in the hundreds for some people in the Top Rated or Hot sections. The highest number of responses I have seen for one discussion so far is seventeen. Come on people! Where are you? Where is the interaction? Does anyone feel the same way?

I joined some 6 years ago but never did anything with the website until about 2 month ago. I had forgot all about the website until I try to join. For what I know many people left because they stopped paying. I believe someone else took over the website and remodel it and start to make it pay again. I'm sure it I wrong someone will put me right. More and more people are joining after what happened to Bubblews, was you ever on Bubblews? My highest post is about 50 responses.

Never heard of Bubblews until I joined this site two days ago. I'll have to check it out sometime. I had no idea that myLot was bought by someone else and they stopped paying. I'm sure that pissed a lot of people off.

I just learned that the site stopped paying in 2013 and that's why a lot of people left, but myLot recently started paying again in the past few months, so more people will be signing up eventually.

It will get busier. I think it's new all over again. Some people are coming and testing the waters. It will get back to where it was before I'm sure.

@crewgirl I'm really not sure though interesting how the older posts could be used. They might be springboards for further discussions I suppose or just a testament to how discussion can be again.

I also feel it. Currently, members of myLot is less active when compared to old myLot before it stopped paying in 2013. Yes, the old members of maylot seems only a small part that coming back to this site. Maybe there is some reasons that I do not know. But so far I still feel active members of MyLot are quite crowded.

Yes, I just learned that this site was recently bought back by the original team, so I understand that it will take some time for users to come back. Thanks for responding!

There is plenty of activity here and some posts get more than 50 responses. I agree in the good old myLot we did get responses in hundred. It is only July since this rebooted myLot came into being. One needs to give it time.

I was a member back in the hay day, too. I'm glad to see it is back and thriving! I found out by accident on another site. At first I thought I had stumbled upon an old post or something because last I had seen, myLot wasn't paying! I was excited to see it's alive and well. It will take time for the word to spread. Once it catches on, I'm sure traffic will resume again! Let's be prepared for when it does!
