Sometimes I wake up in a fright in the middle of the night because I fear that somehow I am about to fall off the bed.
it seldom happens, but when I happen to sleep near the edge, this will happen.
It happens more frequently when I was younger, and had to share hotel bed with 2 other friends to save cost.
With three persons sleeping together, there is a real risk of falling off the bed.

Actually we seldom fall off the bed, unless we were young and played with our siblings.
It seems that our subconscious is still at work to prevent us from rolling all over, and falling off.
However, most of us have nightmares of falling from height, and this is probably part of the warning that we are able to fall from bed.
