“I am a Sailor, I been in to many places, from East to West, from North to South. I saw the world! And I discovered one thing….. Home is the most beautiful place on earth."
This is exactly the message written on a photo that was shared today by a Sailor friend in his Facebook account.
Indeed, no other place could be more beautiful than our home. Thank God I have a home and I need not work far away from home.

My son was polishing off the chicken yesterday saying no food tastes like home food.. He will be at the university preparing for his exams which means that his weekend trips won';t happen until the end of November. I guess all the known and loved things makes the house a home.

You are so right that there is no place like home, and we are all lucky to have one.

It really is where the heart is. I don't mind spending a lot of time traveling abroad, but there's no better place than home.

And i completely agree with the sailor. Home is the sweetest place to be,full of love and acceptance. I wish it was sweet for everyone, too bad some people cannot say the same

Absence from your home makes you realize there is something in your home that can't be equaled by any place in this world.

Okay. I get the sentiment, but as someone who enjoys travel, I can tell you that I have found more beautiful places in the world than the spot I chose for home. There are other factors to consider besides beauty. For lovely, several of the beaches along the coast of South Africa beat those in SoCal. But, for lifestyle and safety, I'm staying in on the California coast.

I got your point @ElizabethWallace. Indeed if we will take the word beautiful from the physical aspects, our place of abode can't compare to those grand places we have visited, but as I understand, my sailor friend used "beautiful" in another sense. It is more than what our eyes could see, but rather what the deepest part of our heart could feel. It is the joy of being with his loved ones again, it is the peace and comfort of being in his own familiar place, the sweet embrace of his little ones, the caring hands of her wife, the happiness of being able to carry and play with his pet dog again, the excitement of running with his children in his backyard, the delightful meals only his wife could cook. The joy of making sweet memories again with the people he valued most. I believe all these and more make his home the most beautiful place for him.

I hope the many refugees will find a peaceful place that they can call "Home" - and also the homeless people.. We need a New World for sure.. Daniel 2:44

Many people are deprived of peace and it is a sad reality in this world. But what this earth could not give, the new earth will give plentifully and perfectly at that.
