Chatting with Customer Service

I am doing chat with a TracFone Customer Service Agent. My account seems very messed up according to my point of view. I have not had any trouble for years, but of course now I lose a phone, activate a new phone, get told I am out of service days, get told there is no record of me adding time. I am unable to access my account online. Grumble grumble. It will get better. How is your day?

I know how that is..I have a Virgin Mobile and when I moved and had to change number, it screwed everything up and it is still not fixed after a year. Hope it gets fixed for you GG. I am worn out today.

@gudheart Just the stress of stuff Gud..my son is rather ill and waiting for diagnosis..something serious..and on top of all that housing is at stake right now..Hope the rest of weekend is good for you Gud

It did get sorted out pretty well. Some wins and some loss. But very little discomfort.

This went more smoothly than I expected, I did lose some minutes and time. I think when my phone went missing someone hacked my account somehow and when I add time it does not really go on the phone so I lost one renewal because I did not have the old card. I am glad I did not use a credit card for this.

I did this by chat and service was good. i have had some issues ever since my phone disappeared and I replaced it. I think it got stolen.

@Marcyaz that is why I did a typed chat instead. I often get people with accents I cannot understand and then I feel rude.

My grandma has been having issues with straight talk, which is owned by tracfone, their customer service is long, drawn out and pretty awful

I do not care for straight talk. My sister has it. When she had an issue last year she went in to Wal Mart and the guy in the connections store took care of it all. It took a few tries.

Yes, @GardenGerty, it will get better. Reminds me of my P160, 000.00 bill in 1 month. The rep didn't change my plan which made my bill soared so high I can't imagine. I used to pay P1,000.00 a month. It took us whole day to find out what happened. Made me so stressed that day.

I hate when I have to call and talk to them in person, because many times I am connected to someone who is not a native English speaker, and then I just get mad easily lately.Or frustrated at the very least.

@GardenGerty I hate when things go so wrong. My hubby is on a business trip. He had 30 Euro credit on his mobile. He got an SMS telling him that someone had made calls on his phone and he had not credit left. He nearly flipped. The fight between him and the mobile service provider is still going on.

I don't have a cell phone.... once when i called for a repairman because my brand new washer was leaking, the repair man was there three times and when I walked into the store and complained the woman behind the counter, she said "its in your basement isn't it?" I blew a gasket and the manager came out of his office to see what was going on. That woman and her husband, the repair man got fired because they were milking my my new machine warranty.

My day today is better but now just trying to keep warm as it is cold out and the dogs keep wanting to go out so it is open door, close door, open door, close door and on and on. It is hard to keep the house warm doing this all morning. No doggy dog and my one dog is large and I'm afraid some critter would come in through there and not my critter. I hope they get your account cleared up soon.

I used "chat" where we just typed and I found that to be much easier. No annoying speech habits that make me want to punch them.
