A lot of households will have blue (teal) Pumkins on Halloween out on their Porches for Allergic FreeTreats or you can buy Non Food Treats like glow sticks or spider rings. This way even children with allergies can go out and have a good Halloween. Most candies sold do not have any warnings on them. Do you offer allergic free treats or other types of treats?

What a great idea. No on will be home to hand out candy at my house, I think. We are all going out to events and trick or treating ourselves.

Am fascinated by this trick or treat thing on Halloween, it's literally sweet! I think very few may have allergies but it's good to know there are sweets with no side effects at all.

Lots of children have allergies to chocolate or nuts but with this new allergic free treats or no food treats is such a good idea.

great idea you have here! as most of parents will buy candies or sweet treats for the kids, other parents should also buy non food treats too

I think children like the idea of non food treats also as they have something new to play with along with their candy.

@Marcyaz I agree with you. Tomorrow, I will be hunting for non food treats for the kids in my youngest son's school. They will have their Halloween party on Friday. Thanks for the great idea.

I love the skeletons and those of the dogs how clever! You know we do not do this in our country but I would love a set like this!

I thought it would be appropriate for this discussion about Halloween.

All I have this year are those little teepee shaped candy corns. Nothing with peanuts--that's a common allergy.

Yes peanuts is a more common alllergy but some are also allergic to chocolate so those candy corns will be very welcome.

I had just read about the teal pumpkin and the signifance to it and my thought was how wonderful now those kids can also have fun and be able to eat some candy or how allergic free toys to play with.

I guess I've never thought about it before but it does make sense. Where we live know, there are nothing but college students so I know we won't get any trick or treaters but I will keep this in mind for next year.
