Mylots value closes in on two and a half million dollars

I love worth of web and checking the values of websites, and as you can see from the attached photo our beloved mylot is now valued just under two and a half million dollars. Now that is a lot of money in anyone's books and just shows how stable a website mylot is, I think we are all in the right place guys and as we all grow mylot will grow with us.

The 'value' they give to Bubblews is almost the same. Which would you buy, if you were an investor?
I always take the values these valuation sites give with a large pinch of salt. They may be somewhat useful if you are comparing two sites on the same valuation platform but they all use much the same publicly-available (and estimated) data to come up with their 'valuation', though each one has its own private arcane formula to work out the 'value'. Calculating an estimated value from already estimated data is shaky, to say the least, and since the actual selling price of most websites is hardly ever known, the estimate cannot be based on known values in the same way that real estate price estimates are.
It's amusing, no doubt, to say that 'MyLot is worth $2m' but how much would you really pay for it ... and how much do you think the current owners would sell it for?

@mrtoffee On the other hand, if one felt that it were possible to run Bubblews more successfully than the current owners, it might be smart to buy Bubblews. It's clearly on a 'down' and the owners are in need of some kind of return on their investment, so about now might be a very good time for someone with their head screwed on to take it over.

Not sure what the value is actually based on, but that's quite an impressive figure. I can see a surge of new people joining since last week, so I'm sure we can all expect the value to increase.

it will be interesting to keep an eye on it @cahaya1983 I will post an update in a week or so and we can see if it is rising with the increase in membership.
