Calling All Crafters! / myLot

Calling all crafters! I need HELP! I have SIX, yes, that's right I said SIX tiny long haired Dachshund puppies I'd like to turn into tiny Tootsie Rolls for Halloween! Maybe make their mama into a nice, long Lifesaver, too. The problem is I don't have a whole lot of time to pull this off as I will be commuting about an hour each way to training every day this week. I am looking for ways to do this FAST, cheap and EASY!!! They weigh about one pound each. Mama weighs about 13 pounds. I know my way around a sewing machine and I have a Cricut...andddd GO! Bring me your ideas, please!
