Just the name of earthquake is enough to make me shiver and people in Afghanistan, Pakistan and some states in Northern India experienced an earthquake measuring 7.7 for almost 1 whole minute...
Really Very scary...
Have you ever experienced such an earthquake?

@ashuli That's good to know. They might be aftershocks but they are not as big? Also there can be some damage. Did they say? Sometimes building get weakened depending of course on the type of quake. Not all are the same regardless of number size.

I learned this news at night from TV. But I didn't get more information from it. I noticed that you come from India. Perhaps you can tell me more about this earthquake. I seldom hear the earthquake happens in India. I hope less people will be wounded in this earthquake. The city I live is not in the earthquake zone. Take care and good luck!

Oh those poor people! It's only about 550miles separating Kabul from Gorkha, where there was that devastating earthquake last April. That region is quite active in earthquakes due to its geology. Very scary. I've been in a couple of very small earthquakes, nothing to compare with the ones in Afghanistan or Nepal.
