Gotta Hit The Road

I mentioned in a previous post that I have to go to Austin this week for training for my new job. I wasn't sure if I would be staying in a hotel down there or not...turns out I am. The upside is, I will have plenty of time for posting and interacting on here in the evenings.
My computer is being sketchy right now and it's taken me several attempts to post this, which is setting me back a few minutes later than planned to get on the road. I'll catch up with y'all later!

I have heard that Austin is a lot like my (liberal) town of Eugene, Oregon, meaning that it would be a part of my old home state I could bear to visit.

hahah! Yes, (nice to see you here from Bubble Land!) Austin is the artsy/cultural/liberal pocket of Texas. I think it's where most West coasters plant themselves when they migrate here. ;)

I used to live in Texas and Austin is a great town. I hope you enjoyed your stay there.
