No more suggestions? / myLot

Has there been a ban on sending suggestions? Maybe I should say suggestions of your own posts which many people have been vehemently opposing recently? I have never received any other kind of suggestions though. After all everybody is here to have his or her say! Or maybe it a self imposed restriction keeping in mind the sensibilities of others? Whatever the reason, there has been no activity in my suggestions box and I have no hesitation in saying that I miss it just a wee bit. As soon as I opened my page, I used to have these welcoming suggestions and I would immediately see what my friends were saying. Now it is lost out there somewhere. I have been told that you can see it in the people section, but here there are a lot of other things like all the responses and comments of the people you are following. It is probably annoying to people who follow many, and I am probably one of the few who maybe thinking otherwise. But still, there you are! Now that the confession is over, I feel much better. I am bracing myself to a good dose of criticism and a robust discussion. If anybody sees this post, that is. I can't go about sending suggestions unilaterally now, can I?

I've never used the suggestions, maybe because I'm relatively new and hadn't gotten around to figuring it out yet. Anyway, I guess they're gone.

The negative of suggestions was that I was missing out on other posts, possibly interesting ones. I am fine with this, because I get a wider choice and I can still read the posts that would otherwise be suggested.

True. Particularly if you are following many people, you can be flooded with them.
