I have an idea to help the new members....

We all know what it is like being the new kid on the block, or the new kid on myLot! I also realize that if you go to 'Explore' and then 'New User' you can find those new kids. So, with that said.... In order to give them a boost, I suggest that we all take a few minutes and welcome those new members and give them a mental boost. I know that several of you, Owl, already do that and provide wonderful helpful ideas and links. I know I was happy when I did my first discussion and people made me feel part of myLot, so let's do the same for all of them. Any thoughts on this? Photo: Pixabay

It helps newbies I think. I used to do this all the time on other sites.

@AbbyGreenhill It also helps gather a following so YOU make more. Since those newbies dont have a crew yet, half of the time they follow me back. Not that that is why I am doing it, but a nice benefit.

This is a good idea. The positive welcomes that I received helped me feel at home. I didn't know where to look for newbies and will start doing so.

Great idea and a lot of them do post their first discussion as hi I am new here. I guess I never thought to do this one when I joined and just posted a discussion and went on to explore the site.
