It's two o'clock at night. Everybody has fallen asleep, but I am still so awake. I am eager to falling asleep but just cannot. nobody talks to me, so boring!

hi@BellaChe this sounds silly but it works for me. I love to write fiction so at night when I find I am not falling asleep I pick up this imaginary story and I walk the characters into talking and suddenly Im sound asleep. It beats l ttting ones worries cone flooding into your mind and killing sleep

@Hatley I thought I was the only one to work on a book in order to fall asleep. It is a good way to do it, and if I remember the story when I wake and it's a decent story that will go somewhere I start working on it.

Hi Rella I have a lot of problems to getting to sleep so Like Hatley I would think about something Nice my favourite one is swimming with a Dolphin, I can see the Beach the clear water and the Dolphins coming towards me I then see myself swimming with them and with those thoughts I can go to sleep

Thank you. For me, if I keep so many meaningful thoughs in mind, it would be harder to sleep.Sometimes, simple calculations would help to sleep, such as, one sheep, two sheep, three sheep…

It's not always easy, when you want to sleep, but just can't for whatever reason. Hopefully, you'll be able to get some rest.

It can be pretty tough when the mind knows it's need sleep, but there's still something on my mind. And with no one to vent to, it can be really tricky to get to sleep. There have times where I have spent half of my night tossing and turning. Funnily enough, the nights where I wrote pretty close to bed, mostly to get some thoughts on my head, I've found sleep a lot easier. Is it the catch all situation to everything? Well, I don't know, but it seems to work for me. Still, boredom seeps in and thoughts crowd the mind. You want to head to sleep, but you really can't. I feel anyone's pain who goes through something like that.

Thank you! While I think it depends. If I am in a good condition, pretty thoughts may help me, but if I am in a bad one, I cannot fall asleep at all.

Yes, it is too late to stay awake. At the time, of course all people have fallen asleep in your country, but in other side of the globe all people stay to work and awake. It is a good idea if you stay to chatting here or in other site if you can't fallen asleep again...
