Do you let your baby watch television?

I really want my baby to watch television because I believe that from there she will learn everything especially about communication or English languages. I also want her to learn the accent both American, British or Australian. I want her to develop her comprehension when it comes to visuals. Usually I am letting her watch the educational shows like Baby TV and Disney Junior.

A show that was very popular for babies in the UK was Teletubbies - you may find it on Youtube

I know that teletubbies too and I have a neighbor who used to watch that show when she was still a baby. Though now Teletubbies are not that popular here in Manila and doesn't exist anymore.

Yes, your baby will learn a lot through watch television, but try to accompany her/him to control what her/his respond to the subject in the television. Try to give explanation if it necessary. It make her/him feel appreciated.

i think it is a good idea, if you do not stay so near to the telly... and not all the time one can learn a lot from television if you choose the right shows it could be very entertaining and enlightening for your baby too

Actually my baby knows her preference now and she was able to recognized the Baby TV already. If you change that to other channel even if that is also cartoon like Cartoon Network my baby will react because she knows that it is not her favorite show. She even pinch the kid who transferred the channel

Thank you very much. I am really glad to have a baby and now I can guide her and willing to teach her many things. I am dreaming for her best and can be achiever someday. My nephew learned his English language with the accent just on TV because if he is just gonna learn it from us even to his parents I don't it will be more complete or there will be additional knowledge when it comes to languages. Influence is more powerful for me and this is now the reason why I want my own baby to do the same thing hoping that she will learn more and more.
