Gift tokens are good as they let people buy what they want. Otherwise it depends what each person you want to buy for likes

I always give gifts that are practical , meaning they will be useful to the recipient . But for children , of course they should be toys .

I guess the nice thing to do is check what they like first and then from there you can have a rough idea of the things to look for

Just find out casually what one person in the family would like to gift the other. And that way you get to be the secret Santa and everyone indirectly gifted someone something :)

What are the ages? Children are fairly easy to shop for, they like everything. Teens are more difficult, and adults are hard. You really need to know what they like. Knowing that will make shopping easier.

I'm sorry, Japneep, but your question is too focused (too constricting) for us to give rational ideas to help you. We would need to know more about your family, their likes and dislikes for our suggestions to do you much good.
General ideas would be small gift cards to places they like and go to often. If they read, find out their preferences on book stores and get them a gift card for that store. If they love a certain restaurant, you could try a gift card that would pay for their appetizer or dessert.
Next time, ask for simple ideas for anyone, instead of specifying your own family. You would have gotten MANY more ideas and many more interested people vying with each other trying to suggest the best/cheaper gifts they have heard of or have given themselves.
Keep your subjects broad for a maximum of ideas and replies on your threads.
Do you have any questions about myLot you would like to ask someone? I will do my best to answer.

Chocolates, candles, warm fuzzy sox, small gift cards are some of the smaller gifts I've given. It's really your thought and effort that means more than the gift itself.

Tell us about your family, in another discussion. Maybe then we can suggest you some ideas. But a generalized idea is: give them what they want, or something close to it, or something that matches with the kind of person they are, their hobbies, their likes and dislikes. You have to make some enquiries into that obviously.
