Pay Pal card reader and Kindle do not mix

Has anyone here used the Pay Pal card reader? My daughter and I make beaded jewelry and signed up to be able to use the reader at craft shows. The problem is that it won't work on my Kindle Fire tablet. Apparently the Pay Pal card reader and Kindle don't play well together. Taking payments on my Kindle would make life much easier. The screen on my smart phone is too small to read the transaction details clearly. It's just not practical for craft shows. For now my only choice is to consider purchasing another tablet. I hope Kindle wakes up and realizes that they may lose customers. Only then will they change their ways.
