Rainy, Dreary Day

It's mid-week and what a rainy, dismal, dreary kind of day. I hate when I get up in the morning and I have to turn on the lights because the house is so dark. It just reminds me that winter is right around the corner and being stuck in the house will be normal.
On the positive side, today is a perfect day for a nap (which I'm already planning) LOL actually I haven't even had breakfast yet and I'm already anticipating nap time.
I should be channeling my thoughts to getting things done around the house that I keep putting off since I won't be venturing outside today. But, just thinking of housework makes me tired and I'm back to liking the idea of a nap LOL
I just feel like a lazy bum today

There is a time and a place for everything, rain, clouds, lethargy, naps, and exercise.
No one would get out of bed in the morning if every day were the same. It would be too boring.
Life is like Las Vegas. There's a lot of gambling involved. You never know what the day may bring, a new thought, a phone call, a letter.
One thing for sure is that if you feel like napping, take a nap. Don't get behind the wheel and start driving around looking for something to do. Take a nap and see what life looks like later on.

Sounds like good advice and I'm certainly not going out looking for something to do. I'm perfectly happy to stay put and be happy I don't have anywhere I need to be today

I wish i could have been lazy today would've been the perfect day. It was rainy, cold and windy today but i still had to venture out to work half a day then a few appointments and shopping. But now I'm home nice and cozy, a nap does sound perfect. I hope you get your chores done and a nap in.
