I worked at a local newspaper for 17 years, I really liked that job. Unfortunately the younger generation is more into going online to find out what's going on in the world instead of reading the paper. I guess I can't blame them, I do it too. Now I'm trying to decide where is a good place to advertise a business, I used to just go to the newspaper, but I hate to waste the money if no one reads them anymore.
So do you still read the paper?

I do not read the paper anymore (I didn't ever like having my hands dirty from the paper). Also the paper does not have current events - now I have the news app downloaded to my phone and I can get the latest news immediately.

@lilnana1111 My grandfather loves reading the paper - even now. He is still subscribed.

Yes, I remember the black fingers from the newspaper print.

I haven't read the newspaper for years. Today we are busy at work and our family. We have little time for the newspaper. Especially today I can read the news online by my cellphone, PC or tablet. It is faster and the content is in details. So it means less for me to read a real newspaper.

I think that's how most people feel.

Nope, I rarely get to read the newspaper these days. Mostly I watch and read stuff online. I love the internet. Used to love books but now I just read online when I can. Still love comics though but I don't want to read that online.

No need for a paper when you're friends with the town gossipers. There isn't much going on in our city that is worth reading about anyway.

Lol, that's one way to get the news. I get a lot of mine on fb, if something important is going on, someone usually post about it, then I go online to read about it.

We have the paper delivered every day and we read it front to back. I do know that the younger generation uses the internet but i like to hold it to read.
