Everyone hates micro-managers, right? But did you know there are 2 kinds of micro-managers?
1. Those who micro-manage our work
This type will typically say these things to us:
"Have you done this?"
"Have you done that?"
"Why haven't you done it yet?"
2. Those who micro-manage our BEHAVIOUR
This type will typically say these things to us:
"Why didn't you do it THIS WAY?"
"Why did you do it THAT WAY?"
"Why can't you be more like ME?"

Two words: control freak
I know one boss who was really a bad micro-manager, to the point that someone would ignore him because of it, much to his annoyance.

That's how the employees strike back! But I've also heard of bosses who are micro-managers and vindictive. They will discipline and punish those who do not follow their micro-management style!

@yeezermac Psh, better call on the HR or report them to some government office if they become abusive.
