Do you have the latest phone?

About ten years ago when I was still early college, I always have the latest phone model. When the camera phones started, I was one of the first in our class who own this. However, time passed and I do not care much about my phone as I only use it for texting and calling. Right now, there are a lot of expensive and high end phones. Some of my colleagues and managers have the latest one. Do you have the latest phone? Are you the type of person who wants expensive phone with upgraded OS or you are not particular with the brand and model?

@chiwasaki yeah, having and expensive phone these days is actually dangerous since you cannot really use it in public... many snatchers and all, disguised as normal people

I agree with you. As long as my phone can be used for calling and texting, I am happy with this. If someone will give me an expensive phone, I will just use it at home.

I am not a person who has to buy the latest, advanced and expensive mobile phone. As long as my current mobile phone works well. I have no plan to change it in a short time. Usually I can use a mobile phone for several years. I can wait for some time until the mobile phone is less expensive and then I will buy it.

Me too, I am happy with my phone. I do not even use this in public, only in emergency cases.

I only need a very simple phone to call people if I need, the simpler the best. I have an old cellphone that has not even the possibility to take pictures. Perfect for me.

I am also not very particular with phones. There are a lot of people who seems to be engaged or interested with expensive phones.

My phone now is the Samsung S6 Edge and I choose this as my phone because it really helps me in my studies and also it become my partner when I really need help especially on researching something for my subjects.

No, I take out a two-year contract, get the phone free and then tend to keep it for 3 to 4 years until it wears out or goes wrong. I really don't enjoy visiting the phone shop, having to learn how to use the features on a new model (actually I never do get to use most of them) and wondering whether I could have got a better deal.

Most of the postpaid plans here in the Philippines are also 24 month contract. I am not into contracts so I also do not go to phone shops for the latest plan and devices.

I do not use my phone for surfing, only for texting and calling. For internet, I use my laptop and tablet at home,

I also use my phone for texting and calling. I seldom do this as I usually use my office computer for emails.
