Trapped in oblivion

Do some of you ever feel like you are trapped in oblivion, nowhere to go, nowhere to escape from your everyday experience? Being the sole caretaker for my 82 year old mother, sometimes I get that feeling. I know I just need a break from the routine, it has been 5 years now, but even so I sometimes feel trapped. I suspect there are many reasons why some of us would feel that way.

I felt trapped like that when I was undergoing my chemotherapy. I was either trapped in the house or at the hospital. There was no way of escaping. My part was to obey orders, even in food, to help fight those darn bad cells. It was then when I came to the old mylot. It surely helped.

I cannot even imagine your ordeal through the therapy, but, I am glad you are still with us and here on Mylot.

Life can really get like that sometimes, when we've been doing the same thing for years and years. And there are some things which we can switch up, but other elements of our routine, are really hard to to do. When I can, I try and switch up what I do, but some responsibilities are going to be when they are and they can't really being broken from. So, you end up being a hamster on a wheel, who keeps running, but doesn't go anywhere. Talk about being stuck in oblivion indeed.

Believe it or not it is such a comfort to know that others understand. Thank you @megamatt .
