It has been some year now that I have tried Sushi for the first time. My boyfriend took me to a restaurant and I have to confess that I wasn't impressed. I didn't dislike it but I wasn't fascinated my sushi.
But then, I once one more time to a sushi restaurant and things change. I've became an addicted to sushi. A completely sushi lover.
I love all types of sushi and I only wished I had more money to eat sushi more often.
What about you? Have you tried out sushi? Do you like it?

The jokes I could make here would probably get me kicked off, so I'll refrain lmao
I'm like you were the first time you tried it. It's not my favorite, but I don't hate it. It will never beat a steak though. NEVER!

@fufurinha I'll usually only eat sushi if it's at the Chinese buffet I go to sometimes. So, really, I have no idea if I'm actually eating fish or kitten. I mean, I can't PROVE it's fish lol

I am half-Japanese and I do not like sushi. I will eat the veggie rolls though, with avocados, and cucumbers. And I do like tuna (not raw) mixed with rice and soy sauce and rolled up in seaweed.

I like this topic because I like eating sushi very much. You are right, it is expensive to have sushi as the meal in the restaurant. And therefore sometimes I will make sushi at home. It is not very difficult. Actually I am quite good at making sushi. I like eating sushi with soysauce and wasabi. They are quite matching.

@fufurinha Perhaps you will not get used to the taste and smell of wasabi. Not everybody likes it. But I think it gives the sushi an extra taste and I like it. Its specy feeling will be gone soon. It is not like the pepper which the spicy feeling will be gone after a few minutes.

@youless I don't like it because it is too spicy and strong. I prefer sweeter things.

I only eat with soy sauce, I like it sweet.
I will have to try to make it one day at home.

Yep sushi is delicious. I like it especially with wasabi. And on that note, I just remembered I forgot to do my laundry.

@fufurinha Nothing, just that I haven't done it earlier.

I prefer without wasabi. I like it sweet, just with soy sauce.
What does the laundry has to do with sushi?

I have been a sushi lover for many years--so me, it is all about the texture of the food--at least with sushi

Yes, the good thing about it is the mixture of flavors and textures.
