So, what do you do?

You know that asking someone what he or she does for a living is a surefire conversation starter. Unlike commiserating over the weather or complimenting someone on her necklace, “So, what do you do?” lends itself to follow-up questions that can keep a conversation going.
So, I ask....what do you do for a living?

I work on one private company here in the country for 5 years now, so far I enjoy my job and I'm able to travel to other places because of it.

I am retired so now everyday I ask myself what do I want to do. Most of what I do don´t mean much money, but I´m frugal.

@marguicha Congrats on your retirement! May I ask what you did before you retired?

I work in the grocery department of a grocery store. Basically, I am a stock clerk. It has it's ups and downs, and I've talked it here
before, but I do love the job. I have been a waitress, a banquet server, a cashier, a cleaner, and an in home aide. Out of all of those
jobs I prefer being a stock clerk the most. It's quiet as it's night, and I am left to my own devices for the most part.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I understand. Sometimes it is so difficult to deal with the public!

I work at a call center, helping people with their prescription insurance - filling orders, solving coverage mysteries, explaining benefits, things like that. It can actually be fun.
