My oldest daughter was so sweet and brought me plants for my front door
So i swept up the blown leaves away and cleaned up a bit to make it look presentable for those tricksters coming in a few days.
Hope to have the scary witch out soon
Any new look for your front walk?

A nice inviting walk there Rosie.
I have no walk here and no decorations up this year.
So lovely of your daughter to give you those flowers.

Very cute! We would normally deck out the front yard with our Halloween stuff - but this year since we won't be here, I didn't want to "trick" any trick or treaters into bothering knocking at our door. So the new look here is no look for Halloween. (But we do have 2 medium sized pumpkins out there!)

Lovely! Looks like fall mums you have there? Or something similar? I LOVE when someone brings me plants. I certainly enjoy cut flowers, too, but it's just nice to have something you can keep, especially perennials :) I haven't put any flowers out for autumn and have actually just pulled up the summer annuals. Maybe I will pass by and pick up a couple of pots at the local home store. They always have a mass of colors to choose from - and they kind of lull me into forgetting the cold weather around the corner LOL

Looks good when I open the image to view it bigger. I am doing something and these people around have been telling me that is the insanest thing that I have ever done in recent years... pssst, they still dont know what I am capable of. I will post a discussion when it is all done (probably by Monday - but depends on the sunshine).

@Rosekitty Sadly yes, I was on that one and I saw the pic you had uploaded. It was all messy with the water flowing around. Hope that the water level recedes, the tornado calms down and you people have a Happier Halloween

@Rosekitty you aren't supposed to be able too, but my mother in law got some seedlings somewhere, said it was a hybrid, dunno, they are growing well in the pot, who knows if they will make it, and if they do, ever bloom

Such a nice thing for her to do! We have a small front porch that had three chairs when we moved here. We left them because we had no patio furniture. But, over time, they got ugly, cruddy, filthy, uncleanable, so when I cleaned out the storage unit of Mom's stuff, I had forgot she had a nice wooden bench she'd had on the back porch. We put the chairs out for the trash and replaced them with the bench. My daughter sanded it down and re-glued it; it looks so much nicer than it did before. And, it looks nicer than those three butt ugly chairs did that the previous tenant left behind.
