Work and things!

Well I finished another day of work. And earned another dollar. Sometimes the days feel very repetitive however if you look close enough you can see the beauty in each and every day. Sometimes it gets overwhelming but if you take one step at a time I believe there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
I work a lot of overtime hours in my new job, but I don't mind, because it helps me pay for the things I love. So as I lay here and reflect, I am filled with gratitude for what I have been given. I have a lovely wife who is petrified of spiders. A baby on the way, and a new house to go to before Christmas. And it is on a 10 acre lot, so lots of room for my kid to explore.
Every day does seem similar to the next but every day is beautiful.
The cold weather is upon us and so I am enjoying these last few moments of mild temperature. But I have a reason to get excited about frigid temperatures, as my new house will be by the ski resort. Now I just need to find friends to go with. My wife is also petrified of skiing. (except cross country.)
I hope everyone who reads this has a life that they are appreciative of. I feel that gratitude brings about kindness and love. Which is something the world would do well to show more of.
In the future for my blog, I want to start to keep a diary of all the good deeds I do. Not because I want to brag! But in hopes that I can motivate others to do the same.
I look forward to talking to you all, and now the ball is in my court to start becoming what I was meant to become.

Thank you for sharing your positive thoughts! :) Congratulations on all the new things coming your way. I used to live rural and it's my greatest aspiration to get back to it again as soon as I can see my way back. 10 acres is a nice property on which to live your dreams. Also, best of luck in motivating others to "pay it forward" as it were... if it takes tooting your own horn, toot it loud!

I have better life than many, and not so good life when compared to many. :) I am grateful I am not starving and may not starve well into future. But today, the old car gave way, and well, we were planning to buy one next September, but it has to be bought now. That is a bit of a concern. No, I don't have 10 acre lot, or a large house or spiders filled home. I would be terrified of that large area. One option to consider would be become a ghost and haunt others in the nights.. but then...I will to fight my demons too. :) Very small house, but I am happy as long as I can clean it.

It is really nice to hear that your life is well stled. First of all Let me welcome to this new world. What you have acheived in this short life is what someone's dream. For me, a owned house is a dream. I now is living with my father but i am worried that how can i make money to build a owned house. I dont have the budget to buy acres of land. Still we dont have much land. what we have is just 1/4acres with a small house. . I am glad that your kid has go all what he needs which is not always lucky for most children.Did you already thought of a new for the champ. it is really great to know that you are going to reside the ski resort. It will be a great experience for you and you new champ. i am looking forward to be invited tothe party for having the chamop in this new world. Wont you call me in the party?

Hi there, and welcome to the site! It must be nice living next to a ski resort! It that were my case, my sister would visit all of the time. She and her fiancé are avid snowboarders. Also, congratulations on the baby on the way! Do you have names picked out? I really enjoyed reading this discussion and I'm glad that you have a life that you appreciate. I think keeping a diary of good deeds is a great idea for whenever you begin to feel doubtful in yourself for any reason. I personally started a "positive door" where each day I write 3 positive things that happened on a post-it note, which could be anything from wearing comfy slippers to getting a nice compliment, etc. I then stick that post-it note on the back of my bedroom door so each day when I awake, I have a visual of all the positives in my life. I have a really hard time recognizing positives in my life, so I find this helpful and encouraging.

So true. As tough as the daily grind can be it provides us with the means to satisfy our needs.
