I'm lucky enough because my parents bought me an apartment so this way I wouldn't have to rent a place. but sooner or later I'm thinking about buying a house. I want to form a family and the idea of climbing up and down the stairs with a baby-carriage doesn't pleases me. plus in a house there's way much more space. of course I don't have the money this is why I was thinking about loaning some money from the bank in order to buy a house
Still the idea of going in debt for a large number of years( probably about 30) gives me terrible pain.
would you do this?

To be honest, NO.
Your problem is very simple, you are scared of stairs and that too for nearly one year (else the baby will be a grown one).
but look it at this, once you have spend part of your earning at EMI for your house, you are bound for more than 20 years (at least) and so your focus for development of your kid will be reduced to a level (initially due to money, then other adjustments).
Now at then end of 20years, you will own two houses but what is the point of having two houses, when your kid will be under evolved.
The solution to your baby-carriage is very simple. Either you should keep some one as a helper (maid or servant) and reduce you frequency on stairs or you can put your this house at rent for the time you are carrying baby and with the rent amount (or may be with addition of some extra bucks), rent another house without stairs.

I considered the idea of selling the apartment and getting a loan so this way I would be able to buy the house

@avinashchby I wouldn't do something that would affect me or my future kids

@swissheart This is a little smart move. See if your pocket allows and if your and your kid's future will not be affected by this decision, you can go with it.

it's un-comparable that's true. but I wonder if I can really afford it. I imagine the expenses would be much higher
