Two disabled women come together to design some great jeans. A clothes designer named Heidi McKenzie partnered with a disabled woman name Kristin Alexandra Tidwell to create jeans for the disabled. They have a catheter opening and have a high wasted back and deep pockets. All with the wheelchair user in mind. Great story about them and how they are designing these and why. Link below.

That is so great Celtic.
It is wonderful what can happen when one puts their mind to it.
This girl really had a great design in mind and was able to put it into action.
They look really great too.

What a great idea! As I heard on NPR today that one in five Americans is disabled, there is clearly a huge market for these adaptive jeans. A friend of mine is a former national women's martial arts champion, now a wheelchair-bound paraplegic as the direct result of someone driving while distracted by their cell phone. She has to catheterize, so this would be handy for her. I wonder if they make these in men's styles, too. That's what she prefers.
