Been busy

Sweater

Been busy Sorry I’ve not really been around today just been busy doing other things. One of things I’ve been doing is finishing a sweater off someone was wanting me to make. They wanted an Aran kind of sweater one with cables and everything going. Last year I knitted one the same but never took photos of it, this time I have. I’m really pleased the way it’s turn out. Lot of work involved. I guess I'll post it on Etsy later at some point, who knows someone else might like one. The photo is of the sweater modelled by my daughter, it doesn’t really fit her, but oh well. How’s your day been?

Wow, you did a very good job. You don't see many men knitting now a days, and I think that is great. I am attempting to knit socks with double pointed needles, something I have never done before. I haven't done a lot yet, as I am taking it slow, to make sure I get it right. I am really impressed that you have taken up knitting.

@kevin1877uk I taught myself how to knit and crochet right after i graduated from high school. I purchased some learn how books, and that is how I started. I do enjoy it though, as it is a great past time.

@kevin1877uk I really like it! It's design 'n' style is very "steam-punk". You should be able to get it for a great price.

@kevin1877uk I don't know if I would wear the colour either. But it is still a rich vibrant colour and will look great on some.

Wow! That is a stunning garment. At first I thought it too bulky but then I realised that was an optical illusion and I saw how brilliant this sweater is.

i was reading through comments and notice that does not seem a colour that anyone likes here. We do not need sweaters here that often. That is an intricate patterns. Hats off to your patience.

You surely knit better than I do, this sweater is beautiful. I am not very patient, so this is not something that I do very well. You have a pretty daughter.

@kevin1877uk I attempted to knit a bear a few years ago. I managed about twenty rows and then gave up. I don't think I was blessed with the knitting genes of my Mumsy and my nana!

Love the Jumper, the detailing is amazing. I've never plucked up enough courage to try and make clothing. I love cables though.

Didn't really take me long, I would say a little over two weeks maybe near 3. Being doing it on and off. I guess if I put my mind to it I could have done it sooner.
