Distraction?

Sometimes they are annoying, and sometimes they are a good thing. As I get older, I tend to see them more and more as good things-both in terms of myself and stress, and in terms of helping others with stress. The truth is that in life sometimes, or often, we need to deal with things on an ongoing basis. And it could drive a person nuts, because in some way it seems as if we, or at least some of us, are hardwired to see things in terms of an end or completion. We hope for an end of illness. Or circumstances. But sometimes all a person can do is try and make them 'better'. And in some way understand that that isn't all of life.

Distraction can be a good thing. Sometimes we just need something that can take our mind off stuff. I constantly need something to take my mind off stuff. I over-think. :/

It would be nice to see the end of certain things. But sometimes just realizing that something's can't be dealt with in the short term helps to take the considerable burden off the shoulders.
